Wood Details is operated by Ipe Woods USA. We want the interface studies and coordination tools to be useful whether you explore a drawing visually, use a keyboard or read the accompanying text.

Read a detail without manipulating the drawing

Each detail study includes a written explanation, profile and interface requirements, project evidence questions and source links. The drawing is a conceptual relationship study, not a substitute for that information. Pending geometry and approval requirements are stated in text.

In the interactive viewer, use the named view buttons to choose Finished, Cutaway, Exploded, Section, Install or Drawing. Use the component buttons beside the drawing to select a layer; you do not need to click a small shape. Standard arrow keys adjust a focused range control. The selected view and layer are indicated by their pressed state.

Keyboard, text size and motion

The first navigation link skips to the main content. Links, buttons and form controls are available through the keyboard. Browser zoom can enlarge the page, and narrower layouts place the inspector below the drawing. Essential diagram explanations appear as page text so they do not shrink with the illustration. The site includes a reduced-motion rule for people who select that preference on their device.

Alternatives to downloads

The HTML detail pages retain the explanations and source requirements alongside their PDF and SVG downloads. Use the HTML page if a downloaded drawing is difficult to read with your software. PDF tagging and every combination of browser, assistive technology and exported file have not been comprehensively verified.

Tools and current limitations

The assembly coordination worksheet and interface schedule use labeled controls. Interactive view changes and worksheet controls require JavaScript. If it is unavailable, the initial detail scene, written explanations, evidence links and download links remain available.

Accessibility review is ongoing. Individual keyboard and mobile checks do not establish that every route, state or assistive technology works without barriers. This page is not a claim of complete accessibility conformance.

Email help@ipewoods.com. Include the page address, what you were trying to do and the part that prevented you from completing it. If useful, tell us your browser or assistive technology. You do not need to disclose a disability or medical information. If a drawing is the problem, include its detail identifier and the view or component you need explained.
