Read the section and elevation together
Locate the head in both drawings. Note the board direction, trim line and adjacent cladding cavity. Check that references lead to the same detail revision; an attractive elevation can hide an unresolved section.

Request confirmation of the water-control connection and intended discharge. Keep membrane and sealant compatibility questions tied to the actual products. Do not convert a general sketch into a proprietary installation instruction.

Identify the inspection moment
List what must be inspected before boards or trim conceal the work. Assign responsibility for photographs and approval records. Later photographs of the finished head cannot establish how the hidden layers were installed.
A junction coordination study
Concept example: a shop drawing shows metal head trim but omits the wall membrane. The response requested is a coordinated connection detail, not an assumption that the metal alone resolves water control.
