Split the perimeter into records
Give the sill, jamb and head individual references. At the lower corner, note where their functions meet. Avoid signing off the entire perimeter when only one segment has a documented response.

Track the actual products
Record window system, cladding profile, trim, membranes and sealants as separate items. For each connection, request the applicable manufacturer information and design response. A generic material name is not a compatibility statement.

Review the corner sequence
Ask which component is installed first and what evidence will remain visible. If a corner detail is revised, check both adjoining records rather than changing a dimension in one view only.
Follow the opening around the corner
Review the sill, jamb and their junction as connected parts. A section through the middle of the sill may omit the condition at its end. Identify how the opening system, water-control layers, trims and wood cladding meet at that corner.
Keep product installation requirements with the opening identity. Do not invent a wall assembly to complete an attractive sketch. Where the underlying design is missing, mark the layer or junction unresolved and request the applicable detail.

In a fictional review, the sill section and jamb section each look complete, but neither shows their intersection. Request that junction instead of assuming the two details can simply be overlaid.
Record the accepted sequence and any required inspection before cladding closes the area. A finished photograph can show appearance; it may not reveal whether the concealed transition follows the accepted design.
A junction coordination study
Concept example: the jamb reveal changes during coordination. The sill end condition must be checked again because the revised trim no longer aligns with the previously reviewed corner.
Use the result
Keep the completed review with the relevant project record. Assign unresolved items before relying on a conclusion. If the material, condition or document changes, revisit the affected questions.
